In an interview with the JUSTZO Show the FMT actress revealed that her character is more of a free spirit than she is.
“She let’s lose. She doesn’t really care what anyone really thinks about her or says about her.
I can be a little bit of that, but as a woman I’m a little more self conscious.”

The Atlanta Premiere of Finding Me: Truth was another successful screening for the fast climbing popular sequel to Finding Me. “Truth” proves once again that the tales of Faybien, Amera, Greg and Jay was worth the wait. The screening was held at the Plaza Theater to a very enthusiastic crowd. Here are just some of the attendees;
These were just a few of the beautiful faces that came out to the premiere. One of the questions most asked after the screening was, ” Is there going to be another film?” How exciting is that. Can the story of finding oneself continue with these characters? The answer is yes. Writer/Director Roger Omeus Jr responded, ” The next step is a series There is certainly enough stories that can be told through these characters, and it will be exciting, fun and filled with drama.” We can’t wait for more Mr.Omeus!

It was a beautiful, sunny Thursday and Saturday when the world premiere of Finding Me: Truth took place at Philadelphia’s QFest international film festival. On Thursday co-producer Sontaia P. Briggs took to the stage to open the film to a very enthusiastic crowd of 136. After the screening Sontaia was accompanied on the stage by Writer/Director Roger Omeus Jr and actor Eugene E. Turner (Greg) for the Q&A portion of the evening.

The Q&A was filled with insightful and thought provoking questions, statements and testimonies fueled by the film. One audience member asked is there going to be a part three. Roger’s response was, “We want to create a series before there is another film.” That got the crowd excited.
” The line wrapped around the building as though we were giving away something free lol..Not knowing till the end that it was 196 attendees, but greatly overwhelmed and elated by the energy of everyone.” says Christopher D. Weaver (Publicist).
These were real Finding Me fans. They were ready for the ride “Truth” took them through. You could feel the energy in the room. The audience laughed so loud at times you couldn’t hear some of the dialog, and so quiet at others because of a pivotal scene you could hear the sound of someone breathing. The extra bonus was on Saturday when the majority of the cast came.
Christopher adds, ” The cast arrived and it was instantly a family reunion. Everyone hugged, kissed and cried upon seeing each other and it was one of the most genuine moments for the entire weekend. Many questions were asked as the audience flowed in such as “When is the next movie, where can I buy the dvd, What is the next step in this process”..The one pivotal statement that was made “The cast and director are very personable and everyone seemed so real”..says one attendee.”
First came the “Deep” video, last week was the release of the Finding Me: Truth Soundtrack and now it’s time for the debut of K’bana Blaq’s “I Hate U” music video.
K’bana has contributed so much music to both Finding Me films, but this was the first video he did for the series. Directed and filmed by the films writer/director Roger Omeus Jr, and co-starring FMT very own Miste Roule (Tammy). The video also features RayMartell Moore (Faybien) and Eugene Turner (Greg). Finally we have some answers. It was confirmed late last night that TLA Releasing slated a September release date for the Finding Me: Truth DVD and the film will definitely be screened this summer in various film festivals and Pride events. YAY! We’ve waited so long to hear something and now there is a ray of light. TLA has also released this new trailer to the film. This trailer is HOT! It gives a bit more insight into the story, but still gives nothing away. I can’t freakin wait to see this film!
